It's time for some new Jack-o'-Lanterns. Only 2 this year.

I let the kids help out. You might notice a couple extra holes if you look closely.

San Tan Hike

We hiked the San Tan Mountains with the Scouts. It is interesting what you can find so close by.

We saw the Prospector's Graves.
The view of Phoenix (way out to the center left). You have to pass over Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe first.
And, the Bat Cave, which was an attempt at a gold mine a few decades ago.

Snow-burban

We had a slight delay on the way to Utah. About 14 inches of snow fell in about 8 hours, causing 2 semis to go off the road about 10 minutes behind us. Here is what our Suburban looked like the next morning.

Queen Creek Wash & Kenworthy Road

Most of the time, this is a dry wash, which is why they built up the dirt to make Kenworthy Road. We're clearly not going to be using the road anytime soon.
